Harry Kane

Kane is perfect for city but it’s his age and injury concerns that are the biggest worry. He doesn’t seem like the type to be playing at the top level past 34 like Benz/Lewa.

however - can anyone see Haaland staying for 10 years plus when Mino is around? Essentially we could actually only end up getting around 5 years out of both of them but in Kanes case it could be less.

haaland is the safer and better bet long term as you also get the resell value if he does fuck off to Madrid - but kane is also tailor made to our team right now and Pep knows it. Wouldn’t surprise me if we signed him but only if Haaland doesn’t materialise.

So if the Rags want Kane regardless of who's in charge - who is saying or driving this? A name, a face? Is there still someone at their club driving signings that none of the managers actually wanted (sounds like pSG) ?

Or is it PR (in house or BBC etc) driven?
Has to be PR, it's probably because the Glazers appetite for marquee signings isn't fulfilled, Kane will allow them to continue that and they will hope he can just keep up the scoring regardless of what manager is there. It's exactly how they have operated for a decade and more and long may it continue. They could be wise and invest after appointing a manager and choosing accordingly, but they will do it because they remain arrogant and believe in that so called DNA which has been their downfall lol. Dumb club, hope this actually happens.

I wonder if we managed to get Haaland if he would insist on a relatively low release clause after a number of years like his last contract?

Mino won't be around in ten years.

Those wishing Kane to Utd baffle me every time I see it.

He's absolute quality and has proven to be so for years and years. Just because he's not Haaland, doesn't mean he's shite.

Same, it's like they have forgotten he came to our home ground and put on a masterclass in striker/attacking play.

Jorge Mendes helping spurs to look for a Kane replacement guess he will actually be on the move then, Mendes offering Abraham and Darwin Nunez.

Probably the latter. Would suit Conte too, I doubt Abraham moves from Serie A after a season

Southgate has just said on BBC that the great thing about Kane is that he wants to play every minute of every game.
So that makes him better than Danny Mills and a few other players who don't want to play the game.

Harry Kane is obviously great, but him going to United is probably the best thing that can happen if we want to secure they are still behind us in the table the upcoming years. Not because he is bad, because if United choose to spend most of their transfer budget on a position they already have Ronaldo in it wont be a huge upgrade. It would also mean that the rest of their shit team will most likely stay shit, as long as they have McTominay & Fred in midfield it doesnt matter if they have prime Messi, Neymar & Suarez as attackers.

The Rags are probably trying to push the Kane transfer knowing that when Haaland eventually makes his mind up, if he doesn't choose us, we'll turn straight to Kane... and (if he's got a brain) he'd choose us every time over that circus just outside Manchester. They're probably trying to get it too far down the line for him to tell them no

I have been saying this for months Zin! Has all the boxes ticked for me...
Makes sense and it’s achievable when the greedy shizster levy is at the table… good luck to Newcastle anyway, we all know how this feels, and we’d be hypocrites not to wish them well..

Top club, sleeping giant and I hope they break the fucking bank, there long suffering fans deserve it!
