I just don’t fancy going into the season with Jesus and Torres as our strikersHe’s not impressed me when I’ve watched him .
The take-away from that is that we ARE signing Kane. We won’t leave him hanging. The only thing what I don't like about this saga is our only interest in Kane (it seems). No other options has been discussed in the media. While in the past when the transfer takes this long, we would have heard about alternatives already at this stage. I seriously hope we won't play another season without a striker. If not Kane get someone else.
At least it stops us worrying about a lb or relaxing dinho :-)I just don’t fancy going into the season with Jesus and Torres as our strikers
Please explain !!I think we should move onto someone else
Andre Silva would have been a better option - but he`s gone to RB Leipzig for around £25 million
Messi could have agreed to play for free and they still couldn't have registered him, as I understand it.Why doesn't Fernandinho agree to play his final year for free, kdb as our highest earner take a pay cut, lifelong City fan foden should be paying weekly subs to play for us and Grealish signs a pay as you play contract so we can make enough savings to pay what spurs want for Kane? If Fernandinho loved the club after a decade being here, if Grealish really wanted to sign for us and if foden was a proper blue they'd all surely agree to that to get kane in wouldn't they? Messi logic.
We'll sign Kane. Just be patient.
Spurs are standing their ground because they hold all the cards. Kane is our only target, but (despite what some on here think) they don't actually need to sell him in this window. As he's tied down under contract, we'll pay what Spurs want.
As I've said before, a deal is possibly being delayed due to disagreement over the valuation of player(s) involved in part exchange, one of whom I suspect will be Aymeric Laporte.
It'll be done soon.
