Harry Kane

That wasn't the City Chippy? The original was next to Baines'.

The late Mikey Williams' took it over at one stage.

The one on the corner of Claremont and Maine Road was called the Blue Moon chippy and was run by my old mate Colin Lund who owned the Soccer Shop next door.
Loved the soccer shop

Rather go in their than the souvenir shop

The one i'm talking about was opposite the Parkside I think. I never used it on matchday, it was in the week whenever I worked near there. Going back over 2 decades so could be wrong.

I was never convinced about those tinned burgers either

It was real gravy in those tins. And those watery onions?

Bliss, man. I still remember the old hot dog carts the guys used to wheel around the ground.

Life seemed so much happier and simpler then (for me, anyway!)

Is she single? When my wife divorces me I'll be in the market. I'm quite a catch or so I tell myself. :)

Haha - I converted her husband from Rangers about 15 years ago and he runs a hedge fund.

Let's just say they can afford to look out on to the actual racecourse.

Came from nothing, too!

Those wheelie hot dog vans with burgers in brine were the pits!

Speaking of burgers at the football, my mate ate 10 in one day when he travelled to Pompey in the mid-80s. Can't remember the full details but I know it started with one at Casey Jones at Piccadilly station before he boarded the train and ended with a McDs in Ardwick!
