Harry Kane

The pies at Maine Road had more than a hint of Fido about them tbf
Slightly tangential but nonetheless. I used to sit in the North Stand in the 1990s and the same guy sat to my right for a good while. He'd always arrive about 5 minutes late for the start of the match with a meat and potato pie in his hand. He'd then sit down and take a bite out of the pie and inevitably utter the phrase 'Fucking hell, this pie is cold.' Probably says more about him than the pies I guess.

Pretty sure he's a Spurs fan. I remember someone with that exact same username gloating like fuck on here 13 years ago that Corluka was joining them and that the deal was done (not that it was a huge secret that he was probably leaving)
Big Corluka lived near me , on the second floor

The one i'm talking about was opposite the Parkside I think. I never used it on matchday, it was in the week whenever I worked near there. Going back over 2 decades so could be wrong.

Great chippy, too. Called the Parkside chippy and became Chips and Gravy in late 90s.

Remember those boiled hamburgers with boiled onions on a soggy bap served up outside the Kippax on a match day. Only the watered down ketchup made it edible.

A lot of alcohol was needed to neutralise the bacteria in those things.
If it helps, my ma always used to ask what those hot dog guys did when they needed a piss?
