Harry Kane

£127m is more than enough. If he is not obtainable at that price it might be time to move on even if it means a season without a forward.

I think we are desperate because of messi sign-ing psg and Lukaku with Chelsea. Maybe club doesn't want pep's last two seasons to go without PL or CL. Plus I don't see any other established no 9 arriving at City in next two years if we let go of kane
There's no way we're desperate. We identified Kane as a target long before Messi and Lukaku were the subjects of going to other clubs. City do their business regardless of anyone else because we're proactive not reactive. Nothing like our Red Bastard counterparts :)

Not true we could of slapped down that 150m before the euros and levy could of sat in it or say it’s only w deal if you let me get a few players in first! Levy knows we need a striker he knows we only want Kane he knows we wouldn’t back out after an initial offer unless Levy said he is not for sale full stop!

Even with Grealish with the buyout it took time..

even levy could not turn down £150million for a 28 year or he would be crazy to
the price was always £150million and rightly so for world class striker that would take city to the next levels

we also have to remember spurs sell kane to us takes us a level up and maybe them a down a level
so a rival club really does not want to sell to you unless its crazy money and in a covid-19 hit world its crazy money

Yes we have identified Kane as a target but I doubt we were willing to go upto 150M for him or else Kane would have been our first signing instead of grealish. Again this is my opinion , could be wrong.
