Harry Kane

We must now be looking at alternatives. It's clear that we do not want to go to the £150m mark and Levy will not move.

All reports suggest there are no alternatives.

Personally I would always prefer City to find a 'hidden gem' player or one who hasn't reached great potential who then turns into a legend. I know I'm in the minority but it does somewhat feel un-City like taking a ready made top player. Perhaps Tevez was the last 'ready made' top player we took?

There tends to be a lot of noise before serious negotiations start as both sides leak to their favourite sources in an attempt to control the narrative. Also very noisy once negotiations are complete as both sides attempt to explain why the deal was/wasn't done. Whilst serious negotiations are underway both sides tend to go very quiet as neither wants to upset the other whilst the deal is delicately balanced. Very quiet at the moment folks.

De Bruyne.

Aa much as City have a stake in his, so do Tottenham.

Do they risk having an image of an employer who backstabs their employees? It also maybe one of the reasons why so many prominent players are rejecting them despite Spurs matching their release clauses and also matching the wage demands made by their players.

I would like to think Spurs think of this sensibly and settle down on 140 instead of the 160 they are putting out on the media forums.

We need to start looking at other alternatives. I don't see Harry Kane deal happening any more

Also if this doesn't happen this week then it won't happen cause its very risky to drag it on to the last day of the window. We will end up without any striker

Ferran and Jesus are not strikers per se so we will struggle this year without an out to out striker
Hopefully the club do have alternatives - that worked out brilliantly for us last year when we got Ruben and spending all Summer chasing Koulibaly.

Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne in the same window say Hi

Riyad Mahrez from Leicester says Hi

Ruben Dias from Benfica says hi

All of these were "established" super stars in their respective teams with quite a few teams looking out for them.
