Charlie Kane wasn't his agent when he signed that deal. A mid to large British agency called unique sports manager were representing him.
Also it wasn't a 6 year deal, it was a 2 year extension that more than doubled his wages. He traded 2 extra years for a guaranteed £46,000,000.
Professional agents are not complete amateurs believe it or not.
I can only think that Harry sorted his contract out and wanted to look after his brother.I'd hope not, which then makes you wonder why, if true, he swapped them for his brother, unless his brother is a professional agent? I'd still say they and Kane were remiss in no get out clause. Grealish did it right. He gave Villa two more years, realised they were a few years away still from competing, if ever and left.
