Harry Kane

Doesn’t sound to me like someone who’s refusing to answer calls or even negotiate.

oh yes, and why on earth would you be stupid enough to not answer the phone to people who are offering you over £100 million ?.....utter journalistic nonsense who just feel the need to keep it newsworthy by making all sorts of shit up because they can only do what we do, and that's watch from the outside and wonder what is really going on

Adding Kane its 7 association and 1 space to make the 8 requirement.

Squad size - 22 (Foden doesnt count yet)
Non HG - 15
HG - 7 (Carson, Walker, Ake, Stones, Grealish, Sterling & Kane)
Spaces - 2 (one NG and one NOT)
I’m almost certain that’s not right. You can only have four association players as part of the eight “homegrown” category as far as I can remember.

This made me laugh a little from the Spurscommunity Forum.

I've actually just come over quite sad now about the whole thing. A lot of us (myself included) borderline worshipped the man and it felt so awesome to have "one of our own" be one of the very best players in the world. Someone most other fans were genuinely terrified to see on the team sheet. So now that the initial anger to the way he's seemingly tried to fuck us over has died down a bit, it's all just a bit sad.

Ultimately I think he's just a bit thick, or at least someone who's never really faced much in the way of adversity so doesn't have a very developed view of the world. He was easily swept along by the narrative of "winning trophies" and hasn't considered what his long term legacy could of been. I do genuinely believe he'll regret the move, whether it takes 5 years or 20.

Just a big, big shame to think what could have been.

Kyle Walker massively regrets the move…

The Spurs fans have to believe that winning trophies means nothing because they don't win trophies. And if leaving to win trophies is a normal thing to do, then all of their players want to leave.

I have never heard a ex-player come out and say they regretted winning trophies, ever.

The funny thing is that precisely because they never win anything, they will bury the hatchet with Kane ASAP and try to take credit for some of the things he wins with us, as he's their academy product. They did it with Bale and he joined at 18.

Oh and I forgot this one ...

I'm seriously considering writing to the FA should this go through and questioning how can it be right that its England captain be employed by a state that has such little disregard for human rights.

In fact I'd like all spurs fans to do it. Their should be consequences for him chasing the blood money like he is

I’ll just leave this here, in case they want to complain about any US owned club international captains.
