Harry Kane

Ferna giving updates on Brazilian TV lol. "Depends on some financial movements," in case we didn't know that already :)

Ok. You're selling your A3 'Dusan Tadic' edition.Book price, 25k. Daniel Levy rings you up, comes to have a look, has a quick testdrive. You know your neighbour is well into buying his expensive Range Rover. You're now at the part where he starts kicking the tyres making all sorts of 'hmmm' noises.

How does the status of that deal for his Range Rover affect things for you?

Scenario 1. The deal went through - neighbour let everyone know it was 40k. If he offers you 20k, you'll laugh at him, and keep going until he gets to 23,5 / 24k. Or more.

Scenario 2. The deal has not gone through. All sorts of rumours about them reaching sticking point over 5 grand. This time, you don't know how much money he really can spend. He says he doesn't know if the deal will go through. He'd need a much better offer from them. Otherwise he's not interested in selling - at all. He's also looking at the BMW Lautaro down the road. But then.... after a lot of murmuring, he says he can make a genuine offer of 20k.

You with me? In THAT situation, if you want to sell, then getting him to 22k might seem like a real win.

I reckon that is exactly where we are.
You know the point of an analogy is to use a simple, easily accessible tale that leads to an obvious conclusion right?

Not just hit the person with the whole thing in the last sentence

interesting though

Pound to a pinch of shit if we don't get this over the line for pep considering how much he seems to want him even going public as such there's not a cat in hell's chance pep goes further than his currently contract...Pep stuck to his promise in coming to the club in the 1st place surely everyone involved need to push this over the line as a bit of pay back
IF that was the case, he would be totally out of order and at the stage where he thinks he is bigger than the club.

We have just spent 100m in these crazy times on Grealish.

For the last 5 years we have given him, Pep, his every desire.

As said all this is IF he felt that way, before the Pep fan boys come calling.

Get Lewandowski.
He would be wonderful and for me better than Kane, BUT

It would be crazy to give the big money Bayern would want to sign him.

Short term signing in the extreme and you are giving a rival with financial issues a huge bundle of cash to replace him with a young long term player.

How about getting Sergio back for six months then meeting Haaland’s release clause of £60million ish in January?
Dude , Kun has gone, he said adios, he has his gold plated, lifetime season ticket personally signed by the Sheik.

He has not kicked a ball in anger for 18 months for a reason.
