i think the difference is when pep probably said that bernardo hadn't supposedly asked to leave and pep has said in a press conference he would let him go if the value is metI meant when did he get sold
I didn't bold the bit about Pep saying he'd keep Bernardo here, I remember that.
To be followed by media saying levy doesn’t want to sell at all etc etcTo summarise for those who cba reading through hundreds of pages -
Kane's team have accepted the personal terms.
City have submitted a final bid today
I thought he said an unnamed 3/4 players want to leave. It doesn't make any difference.Do you take Pep saying in a press conference that Bernardo wants to leave with a pinch of salt too?
Not upset just having an opinion on the latest newsDo you often get upset about events you know nothing about?
how about NYCFC buy him and just loan him to us for 36 months
That's fair enough but they always seem to have a negative slant. Not upset just having an opinion on the latest news
but that doesn't answer the question of why wait and waste the entire window then? if you have a cap, offer it, if it's rejected, move on. simple as, no?Probably goes to valuation? We don't value him any higher than 100-120 million. His age and past injuries is also a factor. But i think teams automatically bump up the price on players that City want because they believe we can afford it and if we want them bad enough - we will pay.
If the team strategists - who know more than I do - believe that we shouldn't go higher than 120 - then we shouldn't. Especially when Ronaldo or Dusan Vlahovic are on the table for one or two years and at a cheaper price. I don't believe, nor do I think its prudent, for the club to go to a 150 mil offer.
I think we're too far away from Spurs' asking price for this to happen.
I do think they will come to us with a lower asking price this week, let's be honest Kane's only going to be cheaper next year. If they come down to £110m-£120m I think we'll do it, otherwise can't see us doing it.
