Harry Kane

If it's true that Spurs are going for Gattuso, there's no way Kane is going to stay. It's not that Gattuso is a bad coach, he's alright, but he's as mental as a coach as he was as a player. If they thought Mourinho was confrontational, they'll be in for a rude awakening. There were rumours that Kane actually got on well with Mourinho, but as much as we take the piss out of him, Jose is a winner and knows what it takes to win. I think Kane appreciated that about him, but i don't think he will have the same respect for Gattuso in coaching terms. He still has to push from his side, alarm bells must surely be going off from his camp but he has to do something about it or just accept that he'll retire having won an Audi cup.

Not sure if you have seen but it’s been confirmed - Gattuso is well and truly off the cards now too, was a target but Spurs fans kicked off about his appointment quite rightly so about comments he has made previously. No mention of new candidate, could maybe see Parker or Howe being next on the list...

Same here tbh. I dont see our club dealing with a shyster like Levy. We dont do United style purchases, not yet anyway!
You mean like when we prized their starting right back called Kyle Walker who also wasn’t for sale too?

Whilst laughing to myself intermittently about what a mess Spurs are in (a friend just sent me a message saying they are two managers away from being able to field a ‘we said no to Spurs 11’) if we are in for Kane all this embarrassing press coverage for them won’t help. Imagine losing their best player on top of all that. No matter how he’d we or Harry push, Levy will just dig his heels in even more to ‘save face’ regardless of the financial repercussions

I think the tension is growing between Levy and Paratici. 3rd Italian coach approached and all failed for a deal.

Kane should hand is transfer request tomorrow after he scores a hattrick tonight.

If he wants to leave he should hand in a transfer request, greedy coont.

Spurs are rapidly becoming the City under P.J.Swales.

They have been unlucky - their timing could not have been worse - borrowing all that long term debt on the premise of a huge uplift in revenues - just at the time of a global pandemic that saw revenues plummet. they have a long term model and long term debt - so whilst this has knocked them for 6 they will be okay - but money is clearly tight in the immediate term and they will need to cut their cloth accordingly and tighten their belts - but that's not unique to Spurs. The media don't seem to have grasped that Spurs are not alone and money will be much tighter across football - which is why some of the transfer speculation is clearly bullshit - clubs are going to be very prudent on the whole.

Put it this way, If I were a certain Saudi prince, buying Spurs would be far more of an attractive option in terms of buying an asset like their stadium, rather than Newcastle.

I agree but they are in this situation and are panicking and making bad decisions.

The whole of football is in a mess financially and I include us in that, but also high time football became realistic with finances.

We have already seen from the transfer market that there is little cash dealings and most deals will be exchanges.

Football is like any industry… when the money dries up your friends desert you and the vultures move in…. That’s why Kane won’t be sold for £150m; Spurs are desperate and City will know it… the price will drop as we get to the end of the window because Spurs will run out of options - not that they have many - so if City offer £80m plus a few add ons that can be spun as £20m it‘ll get done.

Just realized that Kane's PL goals/apps ratio is actually higher than Aguero's at this point. And next season he will surpass his amount of PL goals pretty easily. Totally underwhelming lol.

Sergio had the best minutes per goal ratio in the premier league.
108 minutes per goal.
Don’t underestimate our Serg.
