I doubt there is a striker out there good enough to beat 2-3 close organised defenders and then slot it in to the net...
It's unique anywhere else, but at City that's the norm.
I'd love haaland or Kane but even with their abilities they'd struggle to get the space to do their stuff. I doubt anyone coming in as a central striker could do much against a defence thats well organised with decent defenders and a total lack of movement from our second three
If Haaland or Kane came it'll be a waste of good money while our Midfield 3 stand there making 5 yard side passes to each other. They won't stand a chance and will concede the ball with three defenders and midfielders closely marking them, theyd end up as a bit part player like Kun did, sadly.
We either start creating more space with intelligent movement from our midfielders with early and late runs in to the box and create some havoc, taking defenders away or grabbing goal or a penalty or we forget about Haaland/Kane and we buy the next Mess/Salah/Mahrez who can deal with the compact defence and our lack of midfield creativity.
We need some change, not a lot, otherwise I think we should forget about Haaland or Kane.
To many players are far to positional minded recently and would make defending our striker (who ever he his) to easy.
