Harry Kane

He's risk averse. Nothing wrong with that as long as you've got got control of the game, or a plan to get back on track when it goes tits up.

That was the issue for me on Saturday... Once we got to 2-2 we should have shut up shop. That was the time for Pep to give firm instruction not to give the ball away. If he did, no-one seemed to have listened.
As players went back to kick off I could see him putting up five fingers (well four plus a thumb) as if to say there are five minutes left and then I think he tapped his head as if to say concentrate. Not his fault Cancelo let a ball slip under his foot which led to a throw in which ultimately led to him being out of position to allow the cross in. Doesn't really matter as we will still win the league, it just makes things harder.

I hope that part of our great master plan is to feign renewed interest to inflate the inevitable signing of Kane by Utd - good player who would fit run nicely down the road - you know older player on huge wages.

Perhaps we would have signed him in the summer but I really think that ship has sailed - thankfully. Haaland and Alvarez will do nicely for me.

Our laboured counter attacks are because of Peps tactics. He wants complete control of the football. We’ve seen it so many times this season when the counter attack is on, only for the player on the ball to slow down and pass it back. It lets everyone get back in to position and the machine starts again.
We started last season poorly because we were too open and pep sees it that it’s too risky for us to lose the ball for the opposition to counter if we attack quickly
