Harry Kane is obviously great, but him going to United is probably the best thing that can happen if we want to secure they are still behind us in the table the upcoming years. Not because he is bad, because if United choose to spend most of their transfer budget on a position they already have Ronaldo in it wont be a huge upgrade. It would also mean that the rest of their shit team will most likely stay shit, as long as they have McTominay & Fred in midfield it doesnt matter if they have prime Messi, Neymar & Suarez as attackers.

The Rags are probably trying to push the Kane transfer knowing that when Haaland eventually makes his mind up, if he doesn't choose us, we'll turn straight to Kane... and (if he's got a brain) he'd choose us every time over that circus just outside Manchester. I imagine this will be one of the biggest negotiating points, with the potential to be a deal breaker.
