We had 4 years between takeover and FFP starting, and we're already in Europe. UEFA will do everything to scrutinise any deals signed from now on. Don’t disagree but they have the opportunity to not rely solely on said players, which they won’t, Kane however could be a nice cherry…. Not a chance their outfit is in this to consolidate, it’s another super power in the making, we shouldn’t discount that!Lewandowski would be a far better signing for Newcastle than Harry Kane. As would Ronaldo.
Newcastle need shorter term big-name signings than Kane if they want to make an impact next season and be anywhere near top 4.
They'll be mid-table fodder for the next five years if they rely on English players.

They'll get deals just not at an significant advantage over the rest in 2 seasons, any deals in they sign have to be of fair market value, and they are still well outside the top 6 in England and Top 20 in europe in standing. A 3-5 season target of Conference League->Europa (x2)-> CL is what I expect, providing they get the manager/signings bang on.

Ultimately there is no financial control that can stop Newcastle if the Saudis want to get them money.
There are so many companies with no link UEFA could discern that would gladly throw money at Newcastle to curry favour with MBS and Saudi Arabia in general.
