Harry Kane

Obviously very good player Kane regardless of his injury record and suspect "me" attitude. However as others have said Levy is notoriously difficult to deal with and he just doesn't fit our profile for spending big. I think Ferdy was probably the oldest player we've bought recently but by chance or design he has proved his longevity, I can't see Kane playing at a top level when he's 35.
Doubtful about this. If this was the case, he would've long forced a move, the way Rose and Eriksen did. His heart bleeds for Spurs and is probably desperate to win a trophy with the club.

He's 28 in July, hardly a long-term replacement for Aguero, has as many injury issues as Sergio and Levy will screw us to the floor over the fee. No thanks.
Agreed. Obviously he'd be great in our team, but you don't spend over 100 million on a 28 year old unless it's Messi or someone.

They have just shared this page in their own Harry Kane forum page and it's burning them inside out that their best player in last couple of decades is a second choice for little old City :P
It's a fun read.

TBF, a couple or 3 decent Spurs fans on there.

Can’t even see Kane being 2nd choice for City tbh mate, with his injury record n price tag you don’t need to be Einstein to be put off, I’d say he’s not even on the list.

Yup. A few defended City too. In fairness, they agree to the fact that Kane is too good for them.
In fact, only one real tosser. Nothing like the Caf or Rawk

Those are just toxic forums. The self entitlement and zero self awareness that seeps through those pages can make any healthy person nauseous.

Just like any forum, good sensible posters and a few knobs... its the way of the world... apart from RAWK which is something from another world obviously.

Life is all about timing. The pandemic hit at just the wrong time for Spurs and Levy, who had gone all in on the new stadium bridging the revenue gap to the elite.
And the timing of Kane signing a lengthy contract when he did has left him with little bargaining power if he wanted to force a move.
The timing of those two decisions has pretty much snookered all involved

Christian Erickson doesn't like this post.

Hot take: Kane is actually a better player than Haaland right now. Of course, Haaland is 7 years younger and is only going to get better, but there's no guarantee he'd be as loyal as Sergio was.

What I'm trying to say is, there are pros and cons to both and while I'm pretty sure Kane is plan B to Haaland (and rightfully so), he would actually make us even stronger in the short term IMO.

Hes 28 this year and injury prone. Ankles like glass
