Any football club even with pots of money will consider the overall costs of purchasing a player , sell on values would be a big part of the decision

Totally - The main reason we have this crazy "net spend" compared to some of our rivals is that Pep has replaced a dozen big name, big wage, over 30s players, most who left on frees/nominal fees, with players in the 20-24 year age bracket.

It looks like we don't care about money because of the net spend/big fees - but lower wages, and resale value, makes sense to the club financially.
