He was injured most of the season. You could be right, but I suspect he'll want a chance to prove we were right to sign him in the first placeBecause that team is closer to his level and he would play most weeks

Levy was very direct about their financial situation. Quite refreshing that he didn’t spin it.
They will buy players that will keep them in Europa league and that’s it. They can’t afford to take chances but they also can’t afford to not be at least in the europa league. They are in a real difficult situation that’s why I think they will take Ake as he’s perfect for them at this moment in timeLevy was very direct about their financial situation. Yep the whole thing seemed to be preparing the ground for a Kane-funded rebuild by the new DoFIMO preparing the fans for sale of Kane. Why else?
I've only just seen this video but I didn't think there was much in there of note. I don't think Levy can say he's not for sale. That might cause a problem with Kane. Instead he can say to Kane, if you want to go you can, but only if someone offers X. And of course X is going to be North of £100m.Interesting on 2 levels- no denial that Kane will be sold - he could have killed all speculation with a strong rebuttal and absolutely no confirmation that they would spend to address Kane’s frustrations - which Levy acknowledged… effectively Spurs are skint and need to sell. My target would be Lukaku. I don't see how a team can stop a City X plus Lukaku from scoring. Endless crosses or counter-attacks, and City do counter-attack when opposition counter breaks down. Countr-counter-atacks.
