There's no arguing with his goalscoring record. I'm not convinced he'd be anywhere near as effective with us. Slow endless passing will be of no use to him.
How many chances do we miss?????

Yeah, over on the Caf they seem to have convinced themselves that the offer is £100 million plus a choice of Sterling, Laporte or Jesus. Totally ignoring that all three have different valuations, some of them believe we have made an opening offer equivilent to £170 million.20m plus Sterling. No more. Why the media believe City will offer 100m plus a star player ids baffling
I'd have no problem with Harry Kane signing, just think that Haaland would be a better one for the club in the long term.Imagine not wanting Harry Kane.
He played that way because of Mourinho and the counter attack. So who's to say Pep wouldn't play him higher like a striker? There are certain aspects like dropping deep in the midfield to help progress the ball under a high press that all our strikers (including Aguero) did or does.In the last 18 months, Kane has started dropping deeper and deeper, he said in his interview with Neville that he wanted to be more involved with the game and link up play. He thinks he's the new Pirlo.
The major flaw in this, is that when you're the main target man, you can't pass the ball to yourself. And it's not like De Bruyne is just going to stand to one side and say, "You go for it Harry, you take the playmaker role. I'll just wait here until you get injured, which won't be long..."
I can imagine the conflict with him not playing off the shoulder (in between the sticks) where he is at his best.
Then being 28, injury prone, can't talk, rubbish hair.
Sign him up, lads!
