I was totally bemused when we were linked with him, his record and profile screamed ‘disappointing 18 months at Wolves before being sold at a significant loss to Rio Ave’

Lots of potential, but not a player to buy as a reliable goal scorer. Benfica would probably want £40-50 mil for him even though he hasn't made it there yet. Can't see it making much sense for spurs let alone City.

We don't need to buy project players like wolves (Fabio Silva), but if we did I think 30 mil would be the appropriate ceiling.
