That would work for Levy, but could be he actually wants to sell him to get some money in , but not want to be seen to letting him go.
So may be a stand off between Kane and Levy both wanting it but also not wanting to be the bad guy in the eyes of the spurs fans.

He wouldn't need to 'come out' with anything....he can tell him in private, and nobody needs to know, unless Levy feels telling everyone after he goes, will improve relations with spuds fans, which i doubt would happen....read a spuds forum, Levy could buy our entire squad for a pound....and they'd still hate him!

He can finish supremely well when running towards goal. Alright clearly not on Kanes level but Pep might be able to use him with Gabby and he might come cheap. He's just turned down a 4 year deal with the saints. I mean let's face it theres not many strikers left to choose from.

He scored 13 in all competitions and has only scored 20+ twice in 12 years, and averages a goal every 3 games

Though they have been 12 injury plagued years, in fact he is a bigger crock than Kane has been and Aguero was.

Even if he was used as a temporary fix, he isn't it in my opinion, if that is our thinking and we want ready made prem strikers then you may as well say lets try for other strikers like Callum Wilson, who are of the same standard as ings.

Personally I would rather we didn't sign him and if the rumoured 30M the saints will want for him is true and we insist on buying from the english leagues then may as well spend similar and take a risk on someome like Ivan Toney or even Abrahams who will be resellable at least.

That is a good point.

From the little bits I have picked up , the Spurs fans seemed resigned to waving Harry on his way and accept he wishes to move on.

Think appointing Nuno changes nothing. Right now Kane is focused on the Euros. I think once the Euros end, Kane will still go back, do his meet-and-greet with the new manager, and tells them he still wants to leave.

I see he made some comments last night that would be pretty favourable towards him staying at Spurs
