Harry Kane

realistically what can we do if they just say no. is kane really the type to do anything about it if they told him to fuck off

I guess if this news is true then Kane may still stay put at Spurs only. He doesn't look like a guy who has the balls to agitate a move and despite all noise, he may be fine settling in mediocrity all his life.

Remember when Koulibaly was more than happy at Naples so despite our efforts ADL did not budge and transfer to City did not happen.
Au Contraire I remember KDB only wanted to come to City so despite all delays the transfer did happen.

When thing I am sure of is City is not going to indulge the price Levy wants us to pay and FWIW they shouldn't.

There are only couple of players in the world who deserve all kinds of money thrown at them, their current club and their agents for any transfer. Kane is not one of them.

Haaland and Messi - I am looking at you!

I think what happens on Sunday might become key in all of this.

Was it Alan Shearer who never won a Premier League? (He won Div 1 with Blackburn, but that was pre-1992). What about Gazza? success in Scotland but down here.... not so much.

Those two never won anything with England either - but Shearer in particular never seems bothered (I know Gazza has had 'issues', but I have always thought he was a bit on the spectrum, which may account for that).

So back to Kane, if England lose on Sunday, he might agitate for a move to where he can get some silverware before his talent starts to wane. Alternatively, a win on Sunday, especially with him as Captain and he might just stay at Tottenham, enjoy the adulation of being their number one player and a national hero and accept a Euros Winning Medal trumps anything else in the domestic game anyway....
