Harry Kane

We want be paying what levy would want so 64m plus Jesus with Jesus not being on high wages spurs can afford the package for the lad! Sterling going nowhere he will sign a new contract and his form will come back like all top class players…
As if Jesus would go to fucking Spurs you absolute glue head.

Unless the players themselves ask for it, I can say with confidence that City won't be using any significant players in part exchange for this.
Can see Jesus going the other way if we serous in Kane and can’t afford levy’s asking fee

He'll score goals when he's fit. He will be injured a lot.

I can't see why you'd buy him over Haaland for similar money. One is going to be 28 when he gets here and has a clear recurring ankle injury that's going to get worse, the other is 20 outscores him already.

It seems like everyone who's advocating we sign Kane is pretending he exists in a vacuum where it's Kane or no one.
I’m not disputing he has had ankle issues but they haven’t kept him out for significantly long periods. According to the info you’ve provided his longest injury over the past 5 seasons was for less than 10 weeks. It’s hardly a catastrophic injury record.

Im also not saying it’s Kane or no one. I’m saying it’s Kane or Haaland. To sign either would be fantastic. I think Kane is currently a better player and a better fit for us. Haaland is clearly an absolute beast, who has age on his side and who may end up being better than Kane. That being said, there’s no guarantee we would be the beneficiaries of all of those extra years. I could be wrong but Haaland (with Mino in his ear) doesn’t strike me as being in a next club is for life situation.

I want Kane and/or Haaland. To get neither and watch either of them rock up at our rivals instead would be awful. I think this is almost nailed on to happen if we don’t sign Kane.

I’ve never been a huge Harry Kane fan for a number of what I think are valid reasons.

The time spent out on loan at various clubs without staking a claim at Spurs, where he only got his break due to injuries to others.

The feeling that he’d be happy winning the golden boot each season and that individual awards rank just as highly for him than team gongs.

Seems content being a big fish in a smaller pond hence signing the long contract he’s in currently. He should have been pushing for this move 2 years ago.

However, we only know a fraction what goes on behind the scenes and don’t know the lad at all.

Choice between Haaland and Kane?

Haaland is a great talent at 20 and has a great return in the German league. I’m less fixated on his champions league tally as some of this has been served up against the usual group stage cannon fodder.

Kane is proven in the premier league and puts away the chances we have been missing for fun this season. He’s also shown capable of dropping deeper and being a provider, which suits Pep.
The air of selfishness about him
I can put down to some of the dross he’s played with. He seems happy to release the ball to Son but less so to the likes of Vinicius/ Soldado/ Lo Celso etc. Maybe he’s not a bad judge!

And for me, I hate hear strikers tell me that there’s more to their game than scoring goals. That usually means they don’t score enough of them. Kane = goals.
In our set up, Kane playing regularly will get close to 40 a season. Our current top scorer in the PL is Gundogan on 12.

He’ll cost £90-100m and guarantees us the league and more for at least the next 3 years.
All very decent points but your are living in dream land if you think levy will let him walk away for 90-100 million

i get the feel manchester city may have to turn somebody down this summer
its sounds like every striker is putting themselves in the shop window now aguero is leaving the league champions
kane haaland mbappe messi would all love to play for pep and manchester city next season

haaland is the one and manchester city have to get him and pay the money with sancho sell on and maybe £100million. but if kane and spurs would like to do a deal with sterling going the other way and £70million then yes to that as well. but kane is a big risk for me and just like aguero can pick up a injury in the warm ups ? so spurs will do well to get what they feel is the market value of £140 million

it so funny that the media football world as been slating manchester city for spending the cash ? but now football and the world football clubs needs manchester city money to get the merry go round to start up again
Why would Raz go the other way, he wont get paid anywhere near what he gets here wages wise, can be a bit part player and still win trophies & leave on a free when his contract ends.

We want be paying what levy would want so 64m plus Jesus with Jesus not being on high wages spurs can afford the package for the lad! Sterling going nowhere he will sign a new contract and his form will come back like all top class players…
Pep loves Jesus, the 23 yr old fighter he’s not going anywhere :)

The most exciting transfer of the summer and the majority of City fans are against it. Fucking weirdos ;)
I don't know whether I'd want him more or less than another target and I'll put my faith in City's Player Personnel department on that front.

However, his average performance in the league for Spurs has been 31 games, 23 goals, 4 assists. He will be 28 when next season kicks off. Take a second and imagine what he could do leading our line.

Not sure if I'd want him at City but 100% certain would not want any of our rivals to sign him.
I am 100% okay with United spending what they don’t have on getting him, lacking money to improve their team in other positions, and laughing at them when he gets an injury in the third game of the season, while also feeling sorry for him. Meanwhile, our club will have made sure to close a better all around deal.

Take your tinted specs off, the Rags are far better positioned to win trophies than the Spuds, Kane would seriously improve their team.
I dont see utd getting a new striker next season with giving Cavani a new contract. Plus they see greenwood as their long term number 9
