I think it speaks volumes that Kane has gone public, it may well be a move to the rags but they ahve just committed big wages to Cavani and need to make a decision on Martial so I don't think they will go for it.

Fair enough, I have misread it so my apologies. I can only see Kane going to United as Levy will demand £100m+ and with everything going on at United I can see the Glazers spending it to shut the fans up, for now. I won't complain if he ends up here, he is top quality. Just age, injuries and price are a big turn off which is why, if possible, Haaland is my no1 choice. One can dream eh!

I would have agreed with the rags a month back but since then the swamp dwellers have smashed the stadium up and been chanting about the Glazers to die so they might pull the funds completely. the rags are in CL so if I was them id do it on purpose.

I agree Haaland is the preferred but it just feels like its slipping away.
 
If we get Kane id honestly never be worried about pens again.

He has missed only 2 penalties in the last 4 years. While scoring roughly 30 in that same time frame. Thats a 94% converstion rate almost as sure as you can get for the volume of pens.

The 2 misses during that time 1 came for England the other vs Liverpool in a 2-2 draw at Anfield. Where he scored another penalty to draw the game in the 95th min.

Basically if we get 10 pens a season we are scoring 9 to 10 of those a season every year.

You don't pay all that money to get a sure-thing penalty taker. Kane is a short term answer and his injury record is troubling. Haaland being younger, and fitter (and better!) makes him much better value for money.

They should afford his release clause if they sell Kane but they're not paying for his wages
 
Kane will likely be here longer than Pep will be when he comes. If he goes for Kane then he gets a player that will perform and deliver for him in his remaining time here. No doubt about that. He also looks like he is willing to come and is not going to make a circus out of his transfer unlike Haaland.

His release clause doesn't kick in until after next season. Why would Tottenham believe that Haaland would go from one team, that are fighting for a Champs League place in Germany, to another that cannot even get one in England?? Haaland like Kane, wants to win trophies, which is why he is looking at the previously mentioned clubs.

5 years isn't my idea of short term? His injury record is hugely exaggerated.
Haaland would be a better option,but that doesn't make Kane a bad one.
