Harry Kane

Every time you hear a Foden interview, he cites training with Silva and KDB as influences on his game and look how he’s turned out.

If we get Kane, Delap will have somebody he can learn from but also with a proper path to first team football. If we signed a 20 year old Haaland, Delap has no path to the first team to be a regular IMO.

Statistically, he already is…and in the 2nd or 3rd best league in the world!

Kane is 27 and won NOWT! For a striker who has been in a few semis and finals, he doesn’t seem to have been able to make the difference.

Now, what’s this about him being world class again?! Do you watch him play? Half his game is duping refs into giving him fouls!

That said, he has a knack of finding the net, and would solve the penalty taker issues!

kanes behind lewodenski for me . Haaland plays in a joke league . Kane would score 40 in that league

Took this from the spurs forum's Harry Kane thread and laughed for like 10 mins.
200 million ffs and those spurs guys ofcourse think that's reasonable.

Good luck Spurs in getting clubs paying that fee

I just think the idea that Levy is going to "do the right thing" by Kane and let him go for a realistic price is for the birds.

If we get him it's gonna months of Levy saying £150m or nothing until he backs down on the last day of the transfer window. At best.

while the banks are banging on his door Kane will be sold

Tbh, I wouldn't blame Tottenham if they try to drag this out. If they start the next season with Kane, there's no way he'd be unprofessional enough to sabotage himself or the team (similar to what happened with Messi). It'd take Kane kicking up a fuss to move this along.

Of course this could all just be Tottenham posturing.

Plays in a joke league m8.
What is a joke is the arrogance of thinking that every league other than the PL is a joke. Look at the top three managers in the PL: Pep, Klopp, Tuchel (if you wanna add Ancelotti to this list too...). They have all managed in the Bundesliga and been successful. The German school of coaches is strong. Watch the documentary Trainer on Amazon Prime, see how well professionally managed even their lowest leagues are. Germany is also the country with the second most World Cups (behind Brazil, of course...). It is a strong league by any account. The fact that Bayern rules untouched there doesn’t mean that the rest of the teams are crap, because they clearly aren’t.

LEVY /Tottenham NEEDS MONEY

https://tottenhaminsight.com/spurs-...g-rights-deal-soon-tottenham-hotspur-stadium/

In April 2019, a full 2 years ago, Tottenham Hotspur unveiled their new stadium, which was the biggest stadium in England by capacity. Tottenham Hotspur stadium is suited to host Premier League matches, NFL games, World Heavyweight boxing bouts, concerts, and several other huge sporting and entertainment events. Building this monstrosity has not been an easy job and it has cost Daniel Levy and Tottenham Hotspur £1.2 billion.

The footballing side of the club did do justice to it as Tottenham reached the final of the Champions League just 2 months after the unveiling of the new stadium and things did look going in an upward trajectory for Tottenham as a club. However, when you make a massive investment, especially on borrowed money, you must always make contingency plans to ensure that the financial aspects are taken care of.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium naming rights have not been sold to anybody to date and this is causing massive losses to the club. The club is in debt of more than £600 million, meaning they must shell out an average of £37 million a year until 2042 to pay off the stadium debt alone.

We’re a couple more tweets like this away from the No winning again in the poll lol

Kane would improve our team, but greatly?

Our team did extremely well without a striker and could finish the season with a treble. We have won 11 from 12 CL games so far, broke multiple records, etc. Great improvement upon that would be to win every knock-out CL game by 3 goals while winning the quadruple. Actually, it's far from guaranteed we would have a better season with Kane. Which comes to show what a season we are having currently. Fantastic.
How can a player that scores 30+ goals a season in a shit team and probably 10+ assists per season not improve our team. Really I don’t get the fact that some city fans are blinkered. This season having no striker has worked for us. But if Gundogan hadn’t had that 2 month purple patch who knows where we would have been. So in my opinion, one of the top 3 strikers in the world greatly improves our team.

Just seen that Manure may offer Lingard plus cash. That would seem a very sensible option. How about we consider Sterling or Mahrez plus cash? Yes I know how good Mahrez has been recently but can he keep it up?

don’t matter Kane don’t want the scum

Tottenham are on for a 150 million pound loss this summer. Their debt is one of the worst in the premier league. The 150 million is I think on top of the 600 million debt from the stadium, COVID has hit them hard

This is straight up delusional and something I could see DL do just to get his nose to spite his face. He has done this multiple times with Rose, Erikson and Dembele and ended up losing millions but somehow regarding as a negotiating genius.
Levy is a moron.

I think if the deal goes through it would be around the (100-110) mil mark with another 10-20 mil of add-ons if I am being generous.
