a old mate from my paul weller site ? london based is saying spurs are bringing in a big named manager before the weekend and kane will not be sold if the new manager wants him in his plans. but also spurs don't have any money for new players so it could mean kane will be sold and the money will go to the new manager for new players

i asked him about the story in city swapping sterling and jesus and money for kane and he laughed and said throw in laporte and £80million

They are most likely getting Conte. He is basically saying he might be sold or not. . Acting as if Spurs are the best thing in the league. No ones giving them 80+Laporte, they can finish 6th all they want.

Kane will leave,he wants trophies so he wants out.A new manager will want a war chest and he definitely wont want the club Captain stinking the place out.

I'm not surprised he laughed at your question,there is no scenario that such a deal would happen.

Forgive me for not believing a single word that your ‘old mate’ has said. Just like all the other cling ons he know fuck all and is guessing.

I’ll believe the reputable journalists when it comes to transfers, leaks from Kane’s camp and words from the horses mouth.

With what he said he can’t be wrong whatsoever. He stays he says manager wanted him, he leaves he says wasn’t in managers plans. Nice one for posting in good faith but what a load of dog pap

It rarely gets mentioned that no team plays constantly against a counter attacking team with a packed defence as much as City do.
 
After Khaldoon interview it is pretty clear we are going in for the striker ( It was already pretty clear it just comes directly from the horse's mouth now)

What I do fear is the best two strikers in the world are most troublesome to get :

Harry Kane : Levy is a dick which wants to protect his image of hard negotiator and cut his nose to spite his face. The failed deals of Dele Alli Ericson Dembele and Rose gives us a good idea that he would lose money just to act tough.
He doesn't give a fuck about Kane and may say 200 or nothing. City would say NO

Haaland : Dortmund hates us. We know and TH has also alluded to the fact. They would sell him to anyone but us. Chelsea has a strong team, money to through and just won a CL. What happens when Raiola says give me 40 mil another 30 to Alfie and 130 mil to Dortmund and then I might convince Dortmund and Haaland to close to deal.
Our history suggest we would say NO to that too.

What will City do then.
Andre Silva or Lukaku ?

No way we don't get either of those two, If it's still the case I'd throw PSG 130 for Mbappe and test there resolve.

I fully expect Levy to say £150m minimum.
Doesn’t really matter if Dortmund hate us, ‘if’ Haaland says he wants us and no one else then there’s not a lot they can do.
The sticking point it seems with Haaland could be wages and agent fees, always thought this would be the case.
Wages I would have thought be the slightly easier of the two to get round.
Kane would be on £300k a week (reports)
So you could start Haaland on £250k-£300k a week with the understanding if he wants more, earn it.
I’m sure we’d have no problem paying him £500k a week if he becomes a £500k player.
 
If Conte goes there Kane stays imo. Or if not then Conte leaves before season starts. He is not afraid to walk away.
