On his debut against Spurs, he scored after coming on as a sub in the last 10 mins but was ruled out for offside, we drew 2-2

5 games later we played United at home, 0-0, he came of the bench & scored what we thought was the winner at the end but was disallowed for offside

Come on now, he came on at 3-0 in his last home game and scored 2, a penalty at fulham and 1 at Palace who were already safe.

You cannot ignore the huge periods he has spent injured

Sadly I think today's headline in the sun has done the damage. Even if we do finally get him, no matter how much for, the average no nowt rag, dipper et al will always quote £160 million as being the price paid. One such dickhead rag told me the other day that City paid well over £90 million for KdB - I have give up trying now, I just agree with them and smile these days.

By the way, Fernandinho was 28 when we signed him. That was 8 years ago and he’s still playing for us. Proper short term fix he was.

Doesn't contribute with goals? Wtf? He scored 6 and assisted 10 in 24 games for Villa, yes Villa last season also pretty sure he was a top 5 player for chances created and also the most fouled player leading to free kicks which we do occasionally score from.

Bernardo Silva scored 2 goals and assisted 6 times in the same 24 games that Grealish played yet Silva played for the Premier League Champions.

I like Bernardo Silva also by the way.

You cannot ignore his technique and instinct for goals were still there , the injuries didnt finish him, as i say he will bang them in for at least another season

Why compare 24 and not 38 ? He is not the most fouled he is the most cheating , worse than the dippers, anyway wrong thread to continue this
