In 2013/4 was Kun injured a lot? Just seen that both Negredo and Edin played more games than him.

He had 3 separate injuries from Christmas onwards that ruled him out for about half a dozen games each time... yet he still managed to score 28 goals in 34 appearances that season

I watched the highlights of Spurs 1 City 5 the other day (which incidentally was one of the games he was injured in) and he was unplayable.. absolutely at his peak around that time

Went off just before half time if I remember correctly? He was all over them prior, could have had a couple

Think Negredo got his shoulder injury same week as that Spurs game too at West Ham. Kun and Negredo had been unstoppable up to that point, both at their peak and a perfect duo.
 
This is part of the problem. Kane is undoubtedly a better option than the Jesus of last season or Iheanacho, and were he a replacement for either then I'd be necking pints of the happy clapping kool-aid. Sadly he is touted as a replacement for Kun, and I'm sorry, but despite the admittedly impressive stats I just don't see it. There is that bit of magic - Kun had it, Tevez and even Mario had it but Kane does not. At 93:20 Kane would have been elbowing someone on the halfway line or having an argument with Barton.

Romano is a chancer and is hated by other journalist, because he’s a chancer and populist he’s no more reliable than any other journalist.
