Levy can try and act the big man all he wants but he'll be paying massive wages to an asset that will refuse to step on the pitch and it will damage any future transfers as players will look at that and think well if that's how the chairman is going to act if I want to leave in the future then I'm not signing for them.

He just wants to make it look like he isn't bowing down and he did everything he could to stop the transfer but he'll have to come to the negotiating table with his tail between his legs eventually.

the players hold the power IMO even with contracts,the less on the contract the more power, if HK was to stay another year at spurs and in that year lost his form and or injury he'd be going for a lot less,it would be stupid at this point today for Levy not to cash in at 100 million,the gents agreement means a lot in the footballing world if Levy has backed down on this then how can he be ever trusted again.i cant see it any other way than he's broke the agreement and this has caused HK to do what he has done today

Players hold the power when the contract is running out.
Kane’s got 3 years left on his, so the power at this present time is with the contract, a contract he signed and took the extra money that went along with that.

Yes, but he was due back at their training complex to proceed with that schedule. It's not something he would be doing at home, it's all to be done with their coaches and medical teams so they can see where he is, before he would be phased in with the other guys.
