Harry Kane

Aside from my name, I signed up here a while ago, I'm not as big a fan of Levy given the past few seasons, but one thing Il give him, he maybe shite at buying players, but he knows how to get what he wants.
My thinking is,we should of wrapped Kane up before Grealish.
I think Levy is gonna sit back and watch the Grealish scenario unfold.
Then he will say to us.."ok,let's talk"....using the Grealish deal as a benchmark.IMO.
obviously,I may be well off the mark.

Who ever is in charge of your negotiations has made a real mess of this.
I'm not so sure that's the case, in most negotiations of this size there's a dance to be done and the band hasn't properly started playing yet.

Whatever the outcome, Levy will spin it as a massive win for Spurs as is his wont, and City will just go quietly about their business, as is theirs.

Spurs, if history tells us anything, will spend the money on half a dozen players just good enough to make sure that they win nothing, City will win league titles and trophies.

Plus ca change.

For Kane to be prepared to throw his golden boy reputation away to get this move it would be a bit harsh for city then to not strike a deal with spurs even if it’s a few million higher than originally wanted.

I want players who will do anything to play for this club and It is clear Kane wants this move badly

I wouldn't like us to leave him in the lurch but equally I don't want us getting fleeced for someone who we don't know how many years has left at the top level. If Levy takes the piss I have no doubt City would say sorry Harry it's not happening.

Cheeky twat, as ever our negotiations are in secret, you are just reacting to media made up bollocks. Keep an unhappy captain, see his value reduce exponentially and then decide who’s made a mess. And yes your debt is long term, something like £40m a year for the next TWENTY THREE years isn’t it? A huge ducking millstone around your club. By the way when do you find out if you are playing Larne or the other team who’s name escapes me? That should help with the debt
I hope its not fucking Larne, its just 30mins up the road from me and a real shite hole.

You think that debt wont be kicked down the road for the next 23 years, come on. As for an unhappy captain, like I said Id prefer he was sold, for a suitable price, but if he stays he wont sulk not with the WC next year. Kane, staying fit, in a City shirt is 25-30 league goals guaranteed. You have the money to pay for him so pay it and we can all be happy. £100M lol, get te fuck.

Of that I have no doubt.

You’d have to be a fucking moron of epic proportions to describe a fee that would be nine figures, a record for a British player and a record PL fee as a slap in the face.
And thats just the opening offer of a negotiating process. What a precious little tit that guy was.

You’d hope Levy behaving like a Peckham market stall holder in the Walker negotiations - allegedly broke an agreement on the fee and demanded more - would have us on our guard.

The thing is, Kane isn’t just a world class striker anymore. He’s a very good playmaker as well as proven by stats last season. You pay a premium for both types of player anyway so getting a guy who does both roles, he’s going to cost a bomb.

Was watch transfer news last and what a set of twats those two are rubbishing that gentlemen’s agreement. Yes ok it’s not law binding but what kind of message does it send out to other players and future transfer targets that the chairman lies and cannot be trusted . Feel sorry for Kane as season in and season out he goes out and drags Spurs through games only for them to shit on him when he wants to leave .

Where are you getting this £100 million figure from? Kane hasn't turned up for training, but there's no credible proof to suggest a bid has gone in.

Anyone else offering more than £100m as far as you know? No I didn’t think so

If we haven't rejected a bid, why would he not turn up for training?
Because he simply doesn't want to play for Tottenham anymore. He knows Tottenham aren't going to challenge for major trophies and wants to join a club that does.
There is no confirmation that the amount was actually £100m bid or any bid at all.
