Definitely.Haven't kept up to date on the Kane transfer saga.
What's the verdict looking like, are we on or off, hotter, colder?
Sort of off but maybe on againHaven't kept up to date on the Kane transfer saga.

Actually that was not the case. Messi's lawyers and barca's lawyers interpreted the contract differently. The contract had a date when the season was supposed to end(initially before covid). Due to covid the season was extended so as per barca the cause wasn't valid when messi triggered it . It would have been a long court case
Not the money in MLS or SA, Barca have given him a stupid contract, good luck to him, he deserves it.he'd have been better packing his bags for south America or NYC pref the later and if he had kept his fitnes we could have loaned him back, prob a last big pay day got the better of him
the thing is and saving grace would have been the games he played. even if it was because of covid-19 the season was extended the same amount of games still had to be play and finished the season in which he did
messi did not/does not want to leave its all about the wages he demanded he used city to get a new deal out of barcelona but this time it back fired on him
Certainly a fair bit of sidetracking going on. Realistically absolutely nowt will happen on topic until rumours of how well when nuno meets Harry routine happens.Has this turned into the messy Messi thread?
When does the transfer window close?2/3 days before the window shuts
He never wanted too leave. He wanted Bartamenou (sic) gone.Bullshit.
It would have been long, expensive and ugly. He would have won, probably, but would it have been worth it? I doubt ourselves or any other club would have wanted it either, at risk of actually losing it would have meant not only a transfer ban but also having to then pay his 700m release clause retrospectively. Even if he was up for a fight, which is entirely understandable why he wanted to be, every chance the club would have said no to that as it affects them too.
He clearly wanted to leave. He handed in a notice. His lawyers challenged bith Barcelona and la Liga publicly. His strike went on longer than Kane's, and he didn't hide why it was either. He only yeaterday confirmed he did indeed want to leave and was prepared to. Claiming otherwise is quite bitter.
Fair enough.nope
it was all down to messi he bottled it big time ? barcelona could not afford to take it to court.
because it was in his contract he could leave for free with a year left on it. so not a chance they take it to court knowing they have no chance of winning
after the interview at the weekend its plain and simple messi does not want to leave ? messi tested them again with his demands in this window and this time barcelona said NO
It seems they all have, over a guy that used usHas this turned into the messy Messi thread?
His fanboys are obsessed. Amazed they haven’t derailed half of off topic as wellHas this turned into the messy Messi thread?
It’s because it’s deadly quiet. Nuno and Kane are supposedly having their chat today, so hopefully there will be some news later. His fanboys are obsessed. Amazed they haven’t derailed half of off topic as well
I think certain parts of society like to think it's the same but that doesn't make it the same.....but I accept your position on it, I was being a bit pedantic to make a point. In this day and age it is
If Kane was happy at Spurs this discussion wouldn’t be taking place. It seems to be the case that Levy is reneging on a gentlemen’s agreement to let Kane go if an offer of £X came through.
City won’t pay £160m for Kane. Just won’t happen.
So unless Spurs agree to accept £100m plus say £30m in add ons, you will be left with a talisman who is being kept at the club against his will and a chairman whose word will be worthless. (No one enters gentlemen’s agreements with someone who has shown himself not to be a gentleman.)
If you’re happy with that state of affairs, cool.
