Harry Kane

It's understandable that this transfer seems to be quiet atm as both clubs don't want any distraction this weekend.
Our ITK's have told us that the deal is done so i would expect some conformation between tonight & early next week.

During my working day I come across some right miserable bastards who go out of their way to make life difficult despite my cheery, friendly attitude. I never buckle and have turned a few around. However, I think why do theses perennial down in the mouth miserable fuckers carry on working in that environment if it makes them so unhappy. Go find a job that's more enjoyable, however I suspect some are beyond hope.
I changed careers in my early 40’s and would highly recommend the same to anyone who isn’t enjoying what they do for a living, if it’s at all possible of course - because sometimes it isn’t. Life’s too short and your working day takes up too much of your life to let it make you unhappy if you can possibly avoid it.

Deal off according to the times city have left it too late. Unbelievable that Txiki fella at doing deals. I wouldn’t blame Spurs for telling him to fuck off this late in the window. Look at Chelsea balls deep for Haaland doesn’t happen off they pop for Lukaku all done before the season starts. Only for Grealish had a buy out we’d be starting the season with no one
Childish post.

So true, the saying:

"find a job you love and you'll never work a day in your life"

Not everyone can do this but even if you half enjoy something different go for it.

You can't blame him?

Why not?

He was happy to sign a very lucrative deal, why should be be allowed to dictate how he leaves and for what price?

Charlie did not get anything in writing, idiot, look at the difference to how Grealish's agent dealt with the Aston Villa contract.
Because he loves spurs. I actually respect him for signing that 6 year deal. He was happy to play his whole career at one club when he could have made more money elsewhere as spurs then where matching his ambition. Again I repeat Charlie didn’t negotiate the contract so I’m not sure why you keep bringing him up.

This is purely about trophies for Kane, he is one of the best strikers the premier league has seen and has no trophies to show for it. He has been the ultimate pro until levy has fucked him around. The grealish camp where very clever to get the clause inserted into the contract but that has never been the norm for premier league players (although now I suspected players will push for this)

I think it’s unfair to lay the blame at Kane’s door. Was he naive? perhaps, but nobody expected spurs and poch to have such a disastrous season and one they have never recovered from. I actually think levy‘s treatment of Kane has been nothing short of disgusting and it’s no wonder they are now having problems attracting players such as Martinez to the club as they know once they sign for spurs they are stuck there

From prostitute to pimp isn’t the biggest career change?

He be the man who wrote last summer that it'll be a huge disappointment if City signed Messi. Pep should prove himself by winning the CL without him.

Also a regular on the Anfield Wrap. I don't believe a word of what he's written. Quite frankly I'm sick of reading about Levy and Spurs. I hope after we sign Kane we never do a deal with them again. Really can't be arsed with the cult of personality around the glorified accountant.

I can't lie, I'm not really that arsed if it doesn't happen. Kane would strengthen us but mean Haaland could end up at the rags next summer.

I'd be happy with waiting a year and securing Haaland, letting United deal with Levy for a 29 year old Kane.

If we miss out on Kane this year no way in a million years would we not then set our sights on Haaland instead: much cheaper, younger, promising and arguably already a better player. We'd be bonkers to continue this Kane obsession for another year.

It’s not an excellent way for a top class team like city though is it because if they were any good their club wouldn’t be interested in loaning them out they’d be playing for the club that owns them. Pep is always evolving but he isn’t going to evolve into playing a target man. I don’t think he always bought experience, no. Not sure what this has got to do with my reply either or what people did or didn’t say when Arteta left. Like I said what you gibbering on about
Coutinho okay not what we want but a top player available on a 2 year loan, Barca will probably pay half his wage as well, what they will not do is sell him. there are a lot of these loans out there to be had and will be for the next few years

Haaland isn’t coming now, whatever happens and when we get Kane which we probably will he won’t be coming next summer. Forget about this Haaland obsession. He’s a very good player but he isn’t Messi he isn’t even Ronaldo. His ceiling is probably about Lewandowski levels and while that’s very good isn’t a difference between winning stuff and not winning stuff.
Would he be better than Kane for us over the next 3 or 4 years, I don’t think so. What happens in 3 or 4 years , I’ll leave that to the club to sort out not my problem, there will be other players and the club are well run enough for me to leave them to it.
