Agree 100% on that.agreed but hopefully plan A will happen but if not let's hope plan B isn't Bamford, Woods, Maupay etc.

Sarr because he's on pace to score 38 league goals. Two alternatives if this doesn't happen, Sarr from Watford who I think we could turn in to a top player, or a cheeky late swoop for Vardy, what do people think?
Haha ,oh you are seriousThought we’d have heard something today if this is actually on which it most probably isn’t. Very worrying indeed, especially with him being in their tin pot cup squad. It is unacceptable for us to not replace Sergio, it is borderline incompetence. After our start to the season he should be in Manchester today. Chelsea sorted lukaku in a few days, I just cannot fathom how this isn’t done yet.
You keep saying that but it is nonsenseIf we really do not sign a striker it's bad management and someone needs to be responsible for that. This is just not okay!
No and no.Two alternatives if this doesn't happen, Sarr from Watford who I think we could turn in to a top player, or a cheeky late swoop for Vardy, what do people think?
Cheers for that, Pretty good return in the PL for Bamford last season.Ladies and gentlemen, the 28 year old player who some suggest is a good option for us this season, Patrick Bamford...
I’m sure those people could get the transfer today done if the chairman said here’s £160 mill for Kane, off you go. He obviously hasn’t. So Txiki and Omar work the best they within those restraints. If Spurs don’t budge from that, nothing anyone but Khaldoon can do about it.You'd probably never heard of structures, but there are more people dealing with transfers than the chairman alone.
Why? Who is there if Kane is not coming that is gettable and good enough?
It's not nonsense, your response on the other hand is. It might go above your head but it would be ridiculous to go in to a new season with Gabriel Jesus alone. Nobody is saying that we should sign Kane, and Kane alone. But we do need a new striker, if you can't see that I can't help you on that matter. You keep saying that but it is nonsense
If we don't get Kane then I'd put Delap up front.
Not going to happen.Haaland for 70million ish I think his releases clause is
Made me laugh.Non of which has happened.
But before last week, City had never done anything to make me think we would even entertain the idea of paying £100m for a playerNot going to happen.
There’s no way that City enter a bidding war on who offers the highest wage.

I couldn't care about the Kane signing, if it doesn't happen it doesn't happen but what would be unacceptable is not signing any kind of alternatives. You're paying scouts and people in leading functions to prepare on the short and long term vision. And putting your basket on just one target doesn't seems to show that.I’m sure those people could get the transfer today done if the chairman said here’s £160 mill for Kane, off you go. He obviously hasn’t. So Txiki and Omar work the best they within those restraints. If Spurs don’t budge from that, nothing anyone but Khaldoon can do about it.
Same as an Van Dijk , when Khaldoon said no to Txiki look elsewhere, he did and bought Laporte. The fact we haven’t gone elsewhere sounds like we and Khaldoon think we can get it done.
So yes if you want to start to apportion blame if we don’t be brave enough to go to the top.
Why? They’re completely different types of signing. But before last week, City had never done anything to make me think we would even entertain the idea of paying £100m for a player
Nearly had me thereOk, ok, ok. Just got in from work and from this thread I see the deal is 100% off.
So, just hear me out. What about Martial from the Rags. We'd get him for around £50m to £60m. He's a world class finisher and has pace to burn. He's used to playing with the very best. He's a proven winner in a team that wins trophies for fun.
Worth a punt??
