Spurs were never going to sell Kane before we played them and that was only a few days ago. Lots of media bullshit from both sides being played out, but as there's no talk of Kane changing his mind (far from it) I think this will still happen.

Not sure either side can read much in to him not travelling for that European competition (whatever it is). Spurs wouldn't want him getting injured if they need him fit for the season and if they're going to sell they won't want to risk an injury either.

Charlie Kane wasn't his agent when he signed that deal. A mid to large British agency called unique sports manager were representing him.

Also it wasn't a 6 year deal, it was a 2 year extension that more than doubled his wages. He traded 2 extra years for a guaranteed £46,000,000.

Professional agents are not complete amateurs believe it or not.
