Late last night, the Kane camp started briefing the press. He tried to smooth things over with the Spurs fans, however he stopped short of making a transfer request or demanding a move, but the reports were telling.

Someone was also saying Kane's camp have engaged a PR company, & that seems to be where all the "Sources close to Kane" reports came from. It looks like Kane is stepping up the pressure, but he's walking the tightrope of trying to engineer his departure, without pissing off Spurs fans.

Small sample size (and I think they have re-set their poll - top of the player watch page, linked above) but after
reading their threads for the last couple of days most (overwhelming) want him to leave, including those that understand his motivation is legitimate. Much of the disagreement is about price rather than anything else. Anyway, that's just my impression.
