Off the top of my head our last 3 games ( champions League,charity shield and spuds) we haven't managed one fucking goal.

I know what you mean but is a pacy striker any use against a low block? In the vast majority of games we have greater possession as teams sit so deep. Pace is wasted against a low block (unless you are a City DM or defender) we need a clinical strike…..like Kane!

Mattyb said we have representatives going to London today. Other reports say we are making one last offer to Levy. Tolmie said it will all kick off today.

With sudden rumours over a Vlahovic deal along with Lewandowski and Ronaldo being offered about, I reckon we will make our final offer while letting it being known this is it otherwise we will pull out and get one of the names above.

Right so I’ve just found out from a really reliable source that one of the people involved in today’s meeting is a contracts person.

I wouldn’t expect a deal to be done today, as Levy is the type to hold out for as long as he can, but from the outside looking in, it seems like we are getting our ducks in a row.

Us being "ripped off" for Kane is probably a bigger problem for other clubs than for us. Spurs are already seeing the quoted price for their supposed replacement jump up considerably. It's almost as if Levy hasn't really considered the knock on effect but he's not that daft, surely?

Don't get me wrong, I was a bit flummoxed earlier in the season when I thought a very similar amount could go towards a guy seven years younger and who can equally smash goals in for fun but that's just not on the cards.

Then again, I'd be more than happy to watch the entire industry burn to the ground so maybe I'm not the voice of reason.

But that refusing to negotiate phrase came from kane's camp earlier and city's sources last night. Maybe they are putting pressure on levy to take a final call. We don't know yet

True, but you can get the players agreement firmly documented.

I don’t think Levy had ever come out and said Kane is not for sale, hands off, so maybe he’s happy for conversations to take place because he knows that a deal will be struck.

From Levy’s perspective id imagine that Kane having a firm agreement in place with City, only helps him engineer the deal he wants for the sale
