Levy is probably the most difficult Chairman to deal with. I can guarantee he will hold out till deadline day to get a replacement at bargain basement.Right so I’ve just found out from a really reliable source that one of the people involved in today’s meeting is a contracts person.
I wouldn’t expect a deal to be done today, as Levy is the type to hold out for as long as he can, but from the outside looking in, it seems like we are getting our ducks in a row.
Not far off a bus pass after that.35 next time around.
Think we need to mix it up more. Everything too pedestrian. Maybe sacrifice possession and force our opponents out a bit more. A clinical finisher Kane most certainly is, something we need badly. Could do with both types.I know what you mean but is a pacy striker any use against a low block? In the vast majority of games we have greater possession as teams sit so deep. Pace is wasted against a low block (unless you are a City DM or defender) we need a clinical strike…..like Kane!

If a contract person of ours is involved and Kane is signing a contract, then the deal with Spurs must be close to being done or is done. Kane isn't allowed to sign anything with us at all is he?Right so I’ve just found out from a really reliable source that one of the people involved in today’s meeting is a contracts person.

No mate you can’t be contracted to 2 clubs at the same timeIf a contract person of ours is involved and Kane is signing a contract, then the deal with Spurs must be close to being done or is done. Kane isn't allowed to sign anything with us at all is he?
Manchester city are still alive here
I am surprised that our set budget has to be stretched.@SuperSilva21 did suggest that the deal had stalled over money a while ago and that sale(s) may be necessary, although I note his last post yesterday seemed more upbeat that a deal could be struck.
Who's this joker on Sky Sports News shouting and rolling his eyes what have I just switched on to haha. Comedy gold haha.
They’re not up early they haven’t been to sleep yet. Tossing and turning all night before finally giving up on sleep. Straight on BM to suck the life out of everyone claiming City are the laughing stock of football. Ffs I imagine their wives have left with the kids and they haven’t even noticedFuck me the flappers are up early today.
Had their coco pops and are geared up for whinging and moaning all day.
Fabulous band. I’ve actually grown to love their second album more these days, but that first Trevor Horn produced album is a true 80s classic for sure :-)One of my favourite albums. Schmaltzy as anything and gold lame (imagine that there's an acute accent over the e) suits.
Ah, the eighties.
His value will be determined by what else is available. You can flirt with all the girls you like in the strip club, saying no to a dance, but at the end of the night when you're sat there with your hard on in your hand if that's all that's available you're paying £50 for a dance you previously turned down for a tenner because there was maybe better on offer.
He’ll be 34 the day after his next birthdaySo nearly 34 then

I wouldn’t be happy if we sold Kalvin Phillips for under £70m. Harry Kane is a far more proven player in the PL and is in the top 5 in the world for his position so to suggest he’s not worth £50m more doesn’t make sense to me.
