Yes I heard his name after, I've got a hospital appointment and I'm going to be late now but I couldn't drag myself away from the TV, I thought what the hell have I switched on, I've not had it on for a few days as I cannot stand to listen to Kaveh and Darmesh :)

In The here and now we need to sign a front man. We can hardly call on the strikers who were available 10 years ago.
Kun,Tevez,Edin and Mario, an embarrassment of riches, doubt we'll have 4 the like of those together again.

My understanding is the terms have been agreed with the player for a few weeks.

I’m just assuming that today is about documenting what’s been agreed, and talking about next steps.

These things often run in parallel lines, rather that waiting for one action to trigger the next
 
I was going through some of the more better known football analytic company websites. Obviously they don’t give too much away as they understandably want to be paid for their data.

However they also need to attract business and so use current situations that draw a lot of attention. I wondered if Kane replacements were being discussed and they were, both from a City and Spurs point of view depending where he ended up.

Bottom line: The most similar player to Kane right now is…..Son! Well good luck with that one I thought.

I tried a different approach looking at developing players and the answer was Patson Daka but Leicester have just signed him for a ridiculously small amount.

Its difficult!

Doesn't mean that much as I am sure they could add stipulations on the contract "till fee is agreed with Spurs". Like we had Sanchez sign a physical contract in 2017 and it still didnt happen

It’d be interesting just to see the narrative change. ”Spurs must let him go to achieve his ambitions” and the like would be to the forefront...

Ha ha no way. Just before we signed kdb there was a similar headline to this.
It's a done deal for me.

Sometimes I think yer average premier league striker would score a hatful with the chances we create. We seem to have no one in the area when the ball comes into the box, or whoever is in the right position can't hit the target.
