Why we didn’t just put £150m down for Haaland I will never know.
So, so many reasons.

Are we playing charades, or what?Play :)
before or after ?Play :)
It's a strange world where bidding £100m for a player is 'taking the piss'I know mate but you can’t take the piss because straight away levy would be on the defensive but tbh I think we are at least £30-40 million apart in valuation so it’s never going to happen .
Odds really don’t mean anythingLatest odds
To stay with Tottenham….. 8/11
Manchester City 11/10
Manure 33/1
All pointing to a bad outcome.

All this Ronaldo noise a bit mad really. Maybe pressure on LevyNothing mate
if Kane looks as though it's not going to happen then to be honest we could do worse when you look at the realistic targets in the time we have leftAll this Ronaldo noise a bit mad really. Maybe pressure on Levy
You're right, we have two projects in Ferran and Delap as the future (could-be) strikers. I wouldn't mind them learning off someone's experience like Ronaldo. But I still stand by my point, it shows our desperation in getting a striker if we cannot get Kane. Whether it's good or bad is beyond it, Kane is still the most ideal option imo. I wouldn't be gutted if Ronaldo joined if we get a good deal out of it and he keeps up his fitness + scoring levels for 2 years, but the risks are even greater.if Kane looks as though it's not going to happen then to be honest we could do worse when you look at the realistic targets in the time we have left
75 mill and add ons so in his thinking it’s not really £100 mill mate .I really wanted Kane to come but this £150 million to start talks is fantasy talk and I’d rather look elsewhere I think but it will really piss me off if we don’t strengthen the striker options because we have been short up front now for a couple of seasons and to not bring anyone in is criminal. It's a strange world where bidding £100m for a player is 'taking the piss'
It's a strange world where a British record signing is a 'shite window'Going to be a shite window if all we've added is Grealish. Torres doesn't fill me with confidence ahead of an entire season.
A striker is desperately needed. You can't expect Pep to pull off another title winning season without a serviceable striker.
Even though he may become a winger, Jesus is 24. The other two are younger. The projects are already in place, I think. A stopgap doesn't sound too bad. You're right, we have two projects in Ferran and Delap as the future (could-be) strikers. I wouldn't mind them learning off someone's experience like Ronaldo. Grealish is a great signing and will be a success but we should have sorted the striker situation first as we could have managed without grealish for a season . Most on here will be pissed if if we don’t get centre forward and a lot will say it’s not a great window on that footing .It's a strange world where a British record signing is a 'shite window'
Just checking, did you mean Ronaldinho or Ronaldo?Ronaldinho makes more sense to me then getting rinsed by Levy. City would be making another statement whereby the club refuses to pay way over the odds.
Let’s get this done early and leave Levy high and dry.
