Harry Kane

Watching how awfully Spurs play now vs Chelsea, I kind of feel sorry for Harry. He can't be happy with his situation.
Hard to feel sorry for him, What on earth was he thinking signing that 6 year deal. Very badly advised from his brother on top of pure stupidity on his part. He's stuck their now for basically the rest of his career. Best thing he can do is knuckle down and get on with it and try to get close to Shearer record for a personal achievement because he won't be winning anything trophy wise at Tottenham.

I was all for signing him over the summer but he looks past it now. Levy truly fucked himself on that one

I still think we’d be seeing a different Kane if he’d joined us

his heads not right being forced to play somewhere he doesn’t want to be, watching his playing days ebb away without any prospect of winning the medals he craves for
Same sulky spud chin, same flaky ankles, and same ageing carthorse getting slower and more clumsy by the week. We dodged an expensive bullet i think.

He only wants to join us because he fears he will go through his career with no domestic and European silverware. But before he realised Spurs were/are a shite club beneath his own personal ambitions he penned a long-term contract.

I'm glad Levy priced him out of his 'dream move' tbh .

He's still one of their own so he can carry on sulking and ruing the day he realised he's still Mr Potato Head, and still a spud chinned spuds player. Sod him.

He's only playing badly because he's ambitious and wants to win trophies.... Which is why he signed a long term deal with a team that hasn't won a League title since 1961, and has seen the likes of Swansea, Birmingham City, Wigan and Leicester win trophies more recently. Okay.

An underappreciated part of why players want to join City is that we make players better where some of our rivals, United is the obvious one, make players worse. Which isn't to say that Kane would have worked out for us, but we do a good job of masking weaknesses and emphasizing strengths in a player.

hadn't Son also signed a 6 year deal. Are footballers really that thick?
Not sure he is that thick..clubs are trying to keep players on long term deals so they do not get into the pogba scenario, potentially a Raheem scenario too, where they can clear off and the club loses out financially..when that happens, when you buy one of these players with no transfer fee, they then expect wages that break a payment structure. It is a disaster that is slowly starting. Long term contracts are the only answer.
