To be fair there has been no chance for the alleged Albanian stabbers to be investigated because there has been a trial and conviction within days. Not much of an investigation is it?

Surely though if it happened they'd have been arrested along with Maguire as he was fighting with them at the time I think? Plus his sister would have been treated in hospital. Mind you I think the charges are more to do with assaulting the police and bribery than the actual fight.

Having followed this event closely and been present in Court for the trial it's clear to me the Greeks simply didn't know who he was.

I don't know tbh, but what's the worst they would have done, fine the FA ? I'd have told them we'll announce tomorrow in light of what was taking place, I think even uefa would have taken a sensible view, it wasn't City after all.
