I was in Myknonos the other year. The place is steeped in Greek mythology. One story in particular about a dimwitted-hunchbacked cyclops that lives in the mountains and comes to steal children at night comes to mind.

The locals may very well have just been protecting themselves.

That list of charges would result in somebody doing a bit of time in a shitthole Greek jail under normal circumstances.
Will be interesting to see what happens next because if he walks away without charge the Greek police should be ashamed of themselves.
