Ake would be a great option if we have to go homegrown (he qualifies through being at Chelsea from 16).

35-45m, great technique, plays some very interesting passes, positionally versatile, experienced, only 24. Hes aggressive and physical too, despite being only 6ft hes a much more aggressivley physical defender than Stones and Laporte.

He also has one thing which we lack in our centre backs which is out and out pace.

Leicester are a very wealthy club, and don't have to sell any of their players.

They will only sell Maguire at the price they want, and the only change to that is if Maguire asks for a move.

Our LCB position is fine, Laporte has made it his own. What's needed is a right-footed competitor for Stones at RCB spot, and Ake isn't suitable for that.

Feel a bit bad for him. Lots of clubs seem to be interested in taking a punt on the lad but not at the prices Leicester are bandying around - and rightly so. Think he's worth about 40 million as a play and maybe 10 million in english tax. Anything over that is laughable.

I like him. I think it’s a case of if he was Spanish and playing for Atlético we would be crying out for him. I watched him today and he is very comfortable on the ball like stones, but has more of a physical presence, and is superb in the air a very good defender, something we need now Kompany has gone.

Yeah he is a 75m player him being english raises to that! Leicester probably want him to be the Most expensive centre back though! 90m what they want is just way to much. Can do a deal that add ons eventually get it to 75m think that be a good deal and just where the market is.
