I don't dislike Maguire and think he will do a job for us as will add the height, power and aggression(which is needed), but the 70 - £100m figures being quoted seems expensive to me. Isn't Alderwierd available for £25/30m? He could fill a gap for a few years until the youngsters develop.

Football has officially lost its fucking marbles when a player like this is potentially valued at £100M and a 19 year old (Felix) is the subject of a £112M bid.

We wont go anywhere near those numbers i hope.
 
Leicester are going to get rinsed this summer it seems! Possibly maguire, Maddison, Ricardo and ndidi all being scouted by other clubs

By rinsed, you are saying they are going to make a shit ton of money selling players for 3 times what they are worth only to turn around and spend a fraction of the intake to buy equally talented replacements?

They'll demand and get probably north of £250m for that lot so they won't get rinsed if they do decide to sell.

I think most people are forgetting that when tensions flared at half time in the tunnel and a ruckus ensued it was Vinny that would sort things out and ensure pride wasn’t lost for our group of midgets. Sign Maguire for 85m, leave him on the bench and when the rag or dipper twats start any bother in the tunnel, get the massive slabhead to kick fuck out of them. Worth every penny! I assume this is Peps thought process as well
 
If Danilo leaves, I’d prefer to see us move for Leicester’s right back.

Maguire reminds me of a Richard Dunne bobble head figure. Given the reported asking price, I don’t think he’s good enough for us.

There must be cheaper alternatives that can address our apparent weakness in the air.

Dont see this argument at all. You are effectively saying if he were cheap, he would be good enough for us. Is that right?
