Has Anyone Met A Wigan Fan?

I know a Villa fan, he's been a Villa fan all his life but he and his two kids are season ticket holders at Wigan.

Quite a few people do that. They can take their kids to see premier league football quite cheaply that way.

I'm in Bury myself...I notice a few Wigan shirts knocking about from time to time...more Rags/City/Liverpool though.

As for actually knowing someone who's a Wigan fan...I don't

He's the nearest thing to a Wigan fan I know, agreed its a good way to take the kids to watch all the top players.

In a previous job I knew 2 Wigan season ticket holders. Both from Wigan, and both into football hooliganism. Hated City as well.

Our neighbours' son is a Wigan season-ticket holder - so they do exist.

Almost everyone else around us seems to 'support' United, so 'good luck to him', I say (except in the final, obviously ... oh, and on Wednesday too).

I know three really genuine ones and three more from my former workplace in Warrington who now support Wigan.

The first three are all from Wigan and like me can't abide Egg Chasing. The second three all live in and around Wigan and are a former Mickey and two former Rags.

Known quite a few, but then again at one time I lived sort of between Wigan and Chorley.

Most of them support united or Liverpool as well though.
