Has anyone put their central heating on yet?

Just worked out my gas and leccy for the last two months. .....It's frightening .....

Rip off world ........What about all the other fucking bills as well?

Half past two and just had words with Mrs Beer. In bed reading a book and puts the heating on via her phone coz the bedrooms 14 degrees. it’s 19 degrees downstairs. After a lot of huffing and puffing she’s now downstairs reading, wrapped in a blanket. I would have warmed her up but i am spent after an evening of self gratification following Torgen Meatshields heroics and two minutes humping is just not enough to get someone’s blood flowing.

One hour in the morning, two to three in the evening, almost every day since the third week of September. This forum and City games have been the only distraction from thinking about a divorce or suicide.

Put the gas fire on for half an hour just to see the cost 35p as it was a bit chilly in the living room ! That’s staying off for ever now, fucking hell this is ridiculous.

Had it on 3 or 4 times for like half an hour when thermostat upstairs said it was down to 14c..

Thankfully living room and kids bedroom (both facing the sun for a decent portion of the day stay a little warmer. Our bedroom though...

Yeah, I think I’ve got the wife to understand we need to heat ourselves this winter, not the house.
Bought a thermal curtain for the front door yesterday certainly takes the chill out the hallway, we have a routine now, all curtains drawn and all doors shut whilst the house gets heated up for an hour and it works, anyone gets cold watching tv it’s a blanket and a brew. Hot water bottle for the girls at night, I like a cold bed so no problem, how the fuck we have got to the third decade of the 21st century and we are having to do this is ridiculous.

My smart meter said we were over budget for the week on gas at £18.99! I don’t know who set the budget on it I’ve budgeted for £5 on average a day in the winter months.

It’s madness and could get worse next year.
