Has anyone put their central heating on yet?

I think you need to elaborate. Either you're mum is cold and dying so she's put the heating on, which tbf is not at all unreasonable. Or she's cold and put the heating on and you being a bit mard think you're in the Sahara without any shade or water. You're not ginger are you?

no, my sister dropped her phone in the bog and my mum's decided drying it on the radiator is the answer. She also has 3 cats which I'm mildly allergic to, so my throat is like rubbing your face across a pebbled path.

Mrs Meup keeps moaning 'it's freezing'. Feels OK to me but she wants the heating on.
Not sure we can afford it! Hopefully it will be a long Champions League campaign.
Anyone got the heating on already?
You haven't met my mum...
We've had it on since June...JUNE

Was tempted to last night as felt lot cooler, probably turn it on over weekend to make sure working ok

Still wearing shorts ( I cycle to work!) and tee when I get in from work, but having to layer up with hoodie at night.
I'm sure we'll get a decent spell this month, we usually do, as the past week has been horrendous

Caught her sat in the bedroom yesterday with the heating on and windows open. Said she wanted a nice breeze from the window but was cold so put on the rads directly underneath said window.

She was lay on top of the bed at this point.

If she wasn't pretty she couldn't survive on this planet, I swear to God.

That is an actual defence to murder in the modern day.

Not central heating but just got an electric fire suite and plugged it in £492 all in.

Not had a fire just central heating last couple of years but with Mrs Moon being ill I thought I'd better treat her.

She fancied another gas fire but we would need a balanced flue one, prices from £1.5k and between £250-£500 to fit....electric wins. Had it on last night and tonight to try it out. They've come on a long way from glowing bars.

It'll cost you about £492 per month in electric to run one of those things as well !!!

Early on when I met her she bought me a Man United wallet, because she thought there was no real difference between that and City one as they were both football related. She thought Id be pleased.

I was not pleased

The ultimate insult, you must be a forgiving man ;)
