Thinking about switching the AC off the other night but still a bit muggy so left it on.

It was -20c when I woke up, now a balmy -13c at 9.37

Reminds me of when i visit my mate (a Blue) in Omaha before Christmas.
It's so weird because there is never any frost. So the day can look sunny and warm from the window, and then you step outside.
Never felt cold like it.
We went shopping one day at a outlet mall. Temps were roughly -20C to -10C all week. Never again!
My skin and brain hurt. Trying to go for a beer at night was a nightmare walking bar to bar.
Then it goes from no snow to four feet deep within a day. Two days later all the snow can be gone.

Yet sweltering temps when i go in summer nearly have me passing out.

I swear that state is trying to kill it's residents!

Yes been on all week at our holiday home in Norfolk,no silly bottles here all mains gas and included in site fees.

Ah yes, the annual man v wife battle of the thermostat. Wife drives me bonkers, always turning it down or off.

CH is always on. In hot weather the thermostat is set so it doesn't come on. On cold days heating will kick in. Thats how CH works I thought. Rename the thread 'are you a pussy that needs heat in cold weather?'

You get used to it, it gets a lot colder here than Omaha (which is actually a really nice town) you just have to dress appropriately and not lick any windows.
