Has anyone put their central heating on yet?

You get used to it, it gets a lot colder here than Omaha (which is actually a really nice town) you just have to dress appropriately and not lick any windows.

I had to laugh one morning when we were in a Village Inn restaurant.
In came a bunch of guys which looked like they had come for a teddy bears picnic.
They had these thick yellow brown (onesie type) whole body suits on.
They had to pull down the top half and wrap the sleeves around their bodies so they could eat.
My mate explained they were just outside workers and that suit was so they could survive the temps!

I think everyone I know owns a one piece, I prefer the insulated bibs, easier to take a dump in a freezing 'blue room'

she begrudgling let me put a 4 tog duvet on during that heatwave a few weeks ago
thats been binned since ,back to the 13 tog
i sweat like a trooper and she cuddles up to me cos she is still cold,makes me worse

she never drinks tap water or drinks from the fridge from about sept to april because it
literaly gives her the shakes and shivers
