Has anyone put their central heating on yet?

I keep turning mine off. Mrs sits there in her pjs complaing she is cold. How hard is it to put a fucking jumper on?

The missus put in on on Saturday - thinks if she cranks it up to 28 it'll get to get to 22 quicker!!! Thing is I'm out get in - it's a like a sauna, quickly flips it back down to 18 but now the house takes about 3 days to cool down. Kin women!

Just got back with a truck full of wood, some thoughtful soul had even logged it up for me.
Do you not dry it out first?
Use to have a log burner when we lived on the tops for abt 5 years
It was 3 or 4 times dearer to run than a gas fire
Gobbled coal & wood up for fun.

Wood costs me nothing, don't use much coal £50 a year or there about, yea I season it, got to keep your stocks up, I use about 6 tonnes of wood a year on the two fires.

Central heating is for females. Put a jumper on or go to the pub, or both. Heating goes on in November in my abode, on 18.5 degrees as any warmer feels dry and nasty.
